The studio
Two people, one world.
Mangus is an independent video game studio registered in Waterloo, Belgium. We make hand-drawn games with a cartoon soul and a lot of depth underneath.
Everything we make takes place in Sunrohc, a universe that has been in the works for over ten years: its physics, its peoples, its fauna and flora, its cities. Long before there was a studio, there were notebooks.
Mangus was founded to finally bring that world to a screen. Our first title, Pebble for a Queen, was released on Steam in July 2026 and is available on Windows, macOS and Linux in eleven languages.
We work small on purpose. Every animation is drawn by hand, every system is built in-house, and we read every single message players send us. Several of our post-launch updates came directly from player feedback, and that is how we intend to keep working.
The team
Sandrine Gooris

Philip Dupont

Music and sound effects for Pebble for a Queen were composed by a sound artist who joined the project along the way.
